• Books on breeding, covering such issues as genetics, stud farm management, etc.
• Advanced training titles, endurance training, dressage, reining, cutting, etc.
• British childrens horse novels such as those by Ruby Ferguson, or the Pullein-Thompson sisters
• Stud books
• Carriages & Harness
• Horse racing history
• Hardcover books by Walter Farley: Black Stallion series, Island Stallion series, etc.
• C.W. Anderson titles - particularly Black, Bay, and Chestnut, Twenty Gallant Horses, Thoroughbreds, etc.

Aviation

• Company histories of regional airlines, particularly those companies which operated in Northern Canada
• Biographies and autobiographies of bush pilots worldwide, but again particularly Canadians.
• Detailed histories of specific aircraft commonly used in the north, especially from de Havilland and Avro (Beaver, Otter, Cessna 185, Fokker Universal, Gypsy Moth, Junkers JU52, Norseman, DC-3, etc.).

  I'm not looking for picture books of aircraft, or basic flight instructions.
